Recently, Level5 Strategy hosted another virtual round table discussion with the consumer packaged goods industry, it covered a variety of topics: from external forces that are driving fundamental shifts in the way large organizations are operating, to the internal cultural changes aimed at enabling remote teams to thrive.

Several cross-sector senior executives reflected on the challenges their teams and businesses have faced these past months, and what they believe will be important in the ‘not normal’ future. There was uniform belief that employees’ expectations have changed and that their organization’s cultural building block.

While all are focused on their people and their businesses, an emerging realization centered around evolving their personal leadership approach.

Across sectors, it was clear that many are increasingly challenged by a daily balancing-act of immediate “managing today” issues and early-stage “framing the future” decisions.

Some interesting insights emerged, along with evidence that focus is starting to expand beyond simply navigating through the immediate aftermath.
